Na…I mean sometimes we dont give people chances because we think they are ‘bad’(speaking from personal experience)…but sometimes you have to take chances…

roses must have thorns to protect them, from manipulating life forms.
the anology can be taken to women and men as people, who have individual selves, who are strong on the outside, but true and valuable innerly. yet their outer strength is seen as thorns and so, those who come to them, somehow, get afraid and mis judge and back off.
roses shall remain roses, along with the thorns. if some one wants to be around them, great. if not, roses are fine keeping their distance.
on a lighter note, being a prick is not unnatural, when someone is on purpose causing a crisis.
may those who are not roses, realize that roses are roses, because their stems have thorns on them. otherwise roses could be some other plant without the strength they have.

The thing love does to you! You become so intoxicated by it that you don't even feel the pricking by the thorns.

Exactly…but sometimes you have to forget that there is a potential danger on getting prickled…otherwise you would not enjoy the beauty of loving that person truly…thats why it hurts so much later on if you are pricked..

I thought that a thornless rose doesn't grow. If you want a rose you have to accept the thorns that go along with it. Its like if you want life then you have to accept death:)
