PPP was in decline in Northern and Urban Central Punjab during the past 20 years. Even in Faisalabad, PPP had got more seats as compared to PMLN in 2008. The people of Faisalabad later regretted as they felt that they were unduly punished during PPP regime. Load shedding of over 20 hours and no gas in industrial areas did not help matters. Since 2008 they have lost rural Central & South Punjab as well. This seat that has prompted this thread was won by PPP till 2008, this election they got 4300 from here.
