It’s kind of like shopping. In Pakistan, not every retail store has price tags on its items for sale so the shopkeepers end up charging whatever they want and then you have to negotiate to bring the price down. Whereas there’s no concept of negotiating prices here, everything is tagged and costs a standard amount.
But I guess you could compare the corporate owners to rickshaw drivers Because I’m sure they charge us way more than what the item really costs in all fairness. I mean how does a plain white tank top cost 23 euros?!
Is the behavior of Rikshaw / Taxi walas same all over the world.
Charging excess amounts and taking longest possible routes, when dealing someone who they consider new in their area.
Karachi ke rikshaw wale are too much... One has to go through lot of bargaining to reach reasonable fare. Thanks to chung chi rikshaws in many areas, the situation has changed a little.
no in Dubai we have meters :)
Meter start wth 3 dhms, n minimum you have to pay 10 dhms, sometimes on meter it was 8 or 9 dhms but you have to pay 10, I think it's almost 2 or 3 dhms per kilometer
