I think judges cannot take up a government position within 2 years of retirement. Not sure.

But talking about legal issues, in a country where the interior minsters sells passports and the thugs get PhD degrees, you can expect anything.

Yes , I agree with you about these doctors Rahman Malik and Imran Khan .
I also remeber another Judge President , Tarar about whom a retired CJ of Pakistan said on Tv that he was invoved in traffic of the famous ‘brief cases’ in Judges case of last tenure of Nawaz Shareef .
