If you can't make it to the conference, you can always purchase dvds & cds of the lectures. The previous convention lectures are up for sale on the website.

No, I don’t think it should be a problem as long as you are dressed respectfully.

Why would anyone laugh at your question? 
No. Hijab is not mandatory. However, you may want to have one handy for prayer.
Mehnaz, nope the program isn’t up yet. With scholars coming in from around the world, they probably don’t want to finalize the program until the very last moment.

I wanna go for Hamza Yusuf's lecture......but not having the schedule available yet is really making it difficult to make plans.
Btw Hinna......are tickets available at the door or do we need to purchase them in advance?

Muzna, I got my ticket from ISNA's school. It's a five minute drive from my office. I'm sure the tickets will be available at the door but if you want, I can get 'em for you. Let me know how many you want.

Isn’t RIS at the CNE?
There is a street car that goes to the CNE from Union Station. It’s weird the way you get to this street car, since it is beneath Union Station. Enter the TTC, the one attached to Union and follow the signs for the street car … if you can’t find it, ask someone.
I took this street car when I went to the Backstreet Boys concert earlier this year. 
, so I know it definitely goes to the CNE.
Actually, the website should have directions.

It would be best to use the TTC for this event. With cars you will face a parking problem. Lucky for me its a 10 minute walk. :)

The only problem is with food during this conference. The vendors there charge sky high prices. last year you could walk down to the Financial districe for variety. This year I don't know what is going to happen.
