Thanks a lot dear for your kind words and trust in me  It really means a lot and has definitely made my day!! :*

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

AOA ladies,
I just wanted to do a very quick review on enchanted clothings by Samar (a very positive one).
I was really sick and tired of ordering clothes from canada from different vendors because none of them ever gave me what I had asked for. While searching for a new vendor, I came accross enchanted clothings. I wanted to give them a shot because of all the reviews I had read and I am so glad I did.
Since my first order with Samar, I have Alhumdulillah placed two more orders and every single order I have placed was very well priced and she gave me exactly what I had asked for. From the colours to the details, everything was done very accurately and I have received all my orders on time.
I have been very happy with her service and I recommend you all to give her a shot. Trust me you ladies will not regret it.
Samar, thanks so much for being amazing and for all the outfits!
InshAllah I will be ordering very soon from you again
Xoxo,
Nida.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

Yes your phone is working perfectly fine I know. You blocked me on whatsapp which is why my messages aren’t being delivered to you. My husband then messaged you because you showed as online on his phone and after receiving his messages you blocked him straight away and his subsequent messages were undelivered. How is it that on my phone there was no date time stamp/ last online for you on whatsapp but there was one on my husbands phone at the exact same time and his messages got through? Then you blocked him and on my mothers phone it showed you as online at the same time it was blank on his? Are you now going to try to say all three of our phones are faulty? Honestly Samar people aren’t that stupid.

Once you had sent off the second parcel only then were you willing to talk to us so you didn’t have to rectify your mistakes. You blocked me because I was telling you to fix the mistakes you had made in the first set of clothes you sent me. Yes I did receive the clothes, I am not denying that. I received the ones for Eid on time. The rest I asked for the week after Eid and I did not receive them then.

Also I did not make last minute changes. My orders were all sent to you as final in April by email. The only changes that were made were where you
later on said you couldn’t do what I had asked in the first instance.

Also please don’t suggest that you have offered compensation previously for this order. We have not spoken once since I have received the outfits because you have blocked me. At one stage when I said I was unhappy about the delays (before I received anything) you did suggest that we could end the order there and you could return the remainder of the money, but I needed lawn clothing urgently for some summer functions so I said to go ahead with purchasing them as at this stage the only issue was delays and not quality and sizing issues. Luckily all the lawn outfits you sent I was really happy with as they were stitched nicely and to the correct size. It is the formals I am most unhappy about as these are just unwearable (Green 10k, Pink 9K, Plum 14k, Beige Silk trouser)

Anyway I am really tired of listening to these excuses. The only reason I came here was to warn others because I wish someone had warned me. Call it a ‘bad day’ if you like. That kind of dismissive attitude to messing up an order off around 120k just highlights the attitude you take towards wasting your customers hard earned money.

As for your offer of compensation, honestly I am so put off by this experience I just don’t feel like dealing with you any more, especially now that you are pretending that you didn’t block me to try to save face on this forum. I’m sorry to have to say this but I really feel like you are someone that cannot be trusted. You are good at coming accross well which is why I trusted you with a big order to start with, but the reality I am afraid has been very different in my experience.

Anyway I guess it’s only fair that we see how this plays out now if you want to redeem your reputation a vendor with some integrity. I will send you my account details by email and leave it at that. If you do honor what you have said then I will let everyone here know. If not then I guess anyone who reads this thread can decide for themselves whether they want to take the risk.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

Definitely I am gonna redeem/ correct the mistakes. If there are any! Also please let me know what are the issues in my email so I can verify them since I rechecked all the stuff before sending it off. I shared swatches of colours and fabric too before preparing. Showed you work and all too. You were very happy with everything. Only if you’d have told me to stop id have. Please post pictures with originals and replicas too so we all know where we are standing. And may the vendors boycott bad customers too. Please post pics here too. Thank you for your precious time and effort you doing for publicising the matter. I really appreciate it.

Ps: I can post her chat snapshots too confirming stuff and getting excited after seeing the dresses and not even once complaining about my work or requesting to change while they were in process.

Btw if I get clear outta of it Hun.. How would you like to compensate? Please do share the options so I can consider them whilst counting the sheeps.

Meanwhile, let the ball roll.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

Thanks a lot Nida! Can’t to work with you again! Really feel blessed to have people like you. Lurve u to bits.. :*

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

The formal clothes are unwearable because you made them far too tight and left no fabric inside for alterations. Like I said the lawns fit perfectly fine. How is that possible when I gave you only one set of measurements? That’s because you used a different vendor to stitch the lawns who knew what he was doing unlike your darzi! Like I said in my review these exact measurements have been used time and time again (including with a reputed gupshup vendor) whose clothes I continue to wear to this day. How am I supposed to show through pictures that you made the clothes far too tight when I cannot even get the kameezs over my head or the trousers onto my legs?

Quality of stitching and embroidery is not always evident in pictures. Anyone who has ordered stuff online knows it’s always different to see things in real life. Sometimes you look at pictures and feel uncertain but what you get looks amazing in real life and sometimes pics seem ok but what you actually see before you is not good. I’m sure others will vouch that they have had this experience. When I ordered my bridal outfit I was pretty underwhelmed with the picture my designer sent me but when I received it I was in love with it. From that I have learnt that pictures can give you some idea but seeing it in real life is not always the same.

Anyway quality is subjective. I am used to wearing high quality clothes. But fine these weren’t top quality. I would have worn this lower quality stuff because in the end I paid for it and I don’t want my money to be wasted and I would have just taken it as a less learnt not to order from you again because you can’t offer the quality I want, but I need to be able to get the clothes on in the first place! If quality was the only issue I would written a review to warn others and left it at that. The only reason why compensation is being floated here is because I cannot wear what you have sent me because of the sizes, not because the quality is poor.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

The fabric used in each of your dress is pure chiffon and pure raw silk except for your sister pants and mum’s shalwar. So fabric quality can’t be poor. As for lawn n formals are concern. Lawns are kept slightly lose considering the current trend. If you can send them back to me I will fix them. There’s certainly no issue with that. Formals are exactly the measurements you sent but the fabric doesn’t stretch considering its stitched with linnings. I stitched your black dress too on the same measurement but since the fabric is different than chiffon and silk it fits u fine. And please don’t cry over the quality of my work since I really maintain a quality check myself. Stop calling them poor quality and post pictures please. And yea for the plum I already told you the mishap but you insisted on shipping it like that which I did. Please post pictures here. Spread them on a surface. Take an inch tape and post. Or you may use a hanger! There must be a camera in your phone, open the camera app. Focus and click. This easy.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

I never complained about colours or fabric quality (except for the teal one)

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

A few pics that will give some idea.
I’m sure Samar will say these are all wonderful and there’s nothing wrong. Maybe someone like me when I saw pics will think pictures are not too bad..they could be ok in real life. But really that issn’t the case (e.g. dark green one even the original pic I sent Samar was a replica but Samar’s embroidery is so thin and poor quality by comparison, not like the thick heavy threadwork you get nowadays and dark pink one which was supposed to have fully embroidered sleeves looks sooo odd!) Anyway I am not happy with what I received. I think they are poorly done and there are definitely mistakes in the sizing. I am not interested in getting drawn into further discussions around this any more and I don’t care about the compensation because it is not worth the stress of having to deal with Samar again. I want to get on with my life. I had a bad experience and have learnt my lesson and also done my duty by letting others know. I have no need to needlessly spoil someone’s reputation who I trusted to put together my clothes for me. I am drawing a line under this for myself and make what you will of her ‘offer’ to compensate me

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

So apparently you are saying there’s nothing wrong with the clothes it’s just you who doesn’t like them

In that case what can I offer?

And please I want some admin or some senior member to join us and decide

I too will be uploading pictures soon! The one I shared with her before going ahead and in the process. You can judge the work completely since it’s not hideous nor crooked. You mentioned poor quality! If clothes are fine and it’s just the fitting which I doubt then we can see what can be done! I can’t see your attachments yet. I hope you have used an inch tape too.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

No I maintain that your work is poor quality, although you will obviously say that it is not.

I got tired of dealing with you and your excuses a long time ago and I am not going to be dragged into the same again. If you know some materials stretch and others don’t why wouldn’t you take this into account when making them? Who makes FITTED silk kameezs without zips or at least then without any fabric inside for alteration?

I dont want want anything from you. I have made my point and that’s what I set out to do. I responded to your reply because I thought you were willing to make amends and I wanted to give you that chance the way HQ designs (as mentioned by ShimmerV) did with her customer complaint. If all you want to do is argue about how you disagree with my evaluation of your work I am not interested.

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

Oh when i make changes on my own you dont like it! when i dont make changes you dont like it! please Edan! If you want to argue, please argue fairly! the pictures you posted are not finished. i did remove the applique and extra fabric we use to support the frame! now i completely understand why you posting the unfinished images.. here atre the pics of closeups i sent to her in the process.. not even once she asked me to change anything about work.

Then keep on living in fools paradise! no one is stoping you! i couldve fixed these issues since these things can happen with anyone! but since you dont want to.. keep doing what you doing it wont get you anywhere

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

Small piece of advice for vendors to take note off. Attached here is one example of good heavy thick thread embroidery in keeping with what one expects to get with high quality clothing these days. The brown embroidery is thin and poorer quality and reminds me off what we used to get back in the early 1990s.

The design calls for it Hun! And thread is still the same! Technique changes. Why didn’t you change it or complained then only? Why now?

Re: Review of ‘Enchanted Clothings’ (on Facebook) (smarffy on gupshup)

No the original (which is also a replica) has far superior embroidery. Anyone who looks at the pictures can see that. I didn’t complain because I had such a difficult time getting any pictures from you I was just grateful when you did send me one so close to Eid that you had at least made something and not left me hanging with no clothes for my sister. Also like I have said before often actual quality is not reflected in pictures, sometimes clothes look better and sometimes worse when you actually receive them and so I waited to see what I received. Where there was an obvious mistake that I could see in the picture (e.g. the border was too wide at the bottom) I told you this and you corrected it. Mistakes are more easily detected in a picture than quality.

I am complaining now because I think it’s only fair people know all of this. I do not want anything from you, so please don’t worry about that.

Bottom line is you made one or two outfits that were nice (beige and black) and I must give you credit for getting colour choices right (often designers mess up here) and you did get pure fabrics.

Where you didn’t do well was firstly poor communication, endless excuses and rushing the work right at the end. Secondly, with the clothes in not using measurements correctly (or not taking into account different fabrics strechability as you said), not paying attention to details, poor stitching, no fabric inside for alterations and low quality embroidery. Perhaps your work is acceptable for anyone who is on a budget (I certainly was tempted by the reasonable prices offered) and maybe that is where I went wrong because I do like high quality clothing. The most up to date embroideries being done these days are really beautiful. Obviously there are also dated embroideries and these will be available much more cheaply. I think anyone who has high expectations would find themselves disappointed to have received the clothes that I did. You don’t wish to admit fault and that is of course up to you. I am not here to convince you otherwise or to get anything from you. My purpose was to let everyone know and I have done that. I have provided a detailed account and pictures for anyone who is interested in reading reviews of your business. Anyone who reads this will see that your response for the most part has been sarcasm and diversion tactics and I am not interested in any of that. This has been a learning experience for me and I hope it will be for you too.

Good Luck!
