I agree, the 'first nations' usually get no dice on a day to day basis, but were showcased like it was part and parcel of actual canadian heritage as it is seen. and for a supposedly self proclaimed multicultural society and being in vacouver with huge populations of chinese and desis, they got no love really.
oh and canadians...fix that damn whistler...I get it, you made it bigger faster and more dangerous and allowed only your team to practice on it so you can win luge and all, but its dangerous, killing people and having accident after accident..
you guys want to be top lugers, just take all the medals, you lugers.
Agreed. I have been to Whistler (not for luge) and it's no joke. Canada already had the home court advantage, why stack the odds in such a dangerous manner?
Other than that, the climate didn't cooperate with Vancouver being unusally warmer. I was really hoping for Canada to shine.
