Reverting someone to Islam, final steps!

Re: Reverting someone to Islam, final steps!

I know where your coming from, Mamaof3. The segregation concept troubles everyone at first but I think this is the test of faith. We need not bow down to pressures of life just to "fit in". It's fine to attend the gatherings once in a while but only when it's needed, for example work related. I disagree with the mistrust issue, I know many who chose not to attend, myself included alhamdulillah and there is no such issue, but the opposite is true. The non-Muslims start to respect you and want to learn more about your faith! There is no feeling of being left out because a true Muslim doesn't care of worldly pleasures. This life is a temporary life, it may seem long but in reality it is very short and we should live with simplicity, why put so much burden on ourselves for no reason at all? The more we start to "enjoy" life, the more we want to accumulate, our lives become stressful leading to disease. A disease which is never curable unless we are willing to give up everything. Trust me, once a Muslim is hooked in this madness, it's only natural for him to want more and more... it's reality, no matter how much one wants do deny, a Muslim starts to wander away from the way of life sent down by God Almighty.

Sorry for going a bit off topic, hope you understood my words insh'Allah.
