as far as i know the business express is up N running but a lot of on-board services that were provided on the maiden run is now mostly gone...fares are quite high...i think it's about Rs 5000 for a round trip.

Boat Basin food street. A very good restaurant named Thali Inn, you might want to try their Afghani thali & Arabic Thali. They also have lots of Pakistani cuisines. The atmosphere is good too but, it could get a bit crowdy on weekends.
Re: resturant in karachi
Or If you want to taste the real Pakistani food, try White chicken karhai or Prawn Karhai from Anwar Baloch Restaurant in Malir (Facebook) You’ll forget all those big names.
Re: resturant in karachi
Try "kolachi" it's on seaview.. they have amazing bbq and the view is stunning.
Re: resturant in karachi
The city of Karachi has so many great restaurants to choose from. I was lucky enough to visit Karachi back in the 90’s with my family. I remember eating at Salt n Pepper village. The food was just excellent. I know the current situation in Karachi is not the same. But the government of Pakistan is working hard to bring the situation under control. The city of Karachi has so much to offer, and those who have not been to Karachi should definitely plan to visit.

Re: resturant in karachi
No. The PKR 13600 are for a roundtrip including taxes. Where did you check?
Khi to lahore return ticket is never less than 25-28K.
If it is this much low, I would love to book tickets and have a trip to Lahore!
