As a guy, I would say just respond politely. Something along the lines of “thanks for the compliment but I don’t date/do that etc”. This is not just for flirting but in any situation in which people are being jackasses. Being really polite makes them feel shamed (in most cases) whereas acting like a b-word just makes the guy go, “I knew she was a b-word”. Plus, you don’t want to crush his soul and turn him into a ghost.
