Well friends, we built an extension onto our home about three years ago, which was to serve as a large kitchen. Since then, every time we get warm weather, we get carpenter ants everywhere. Could it be because the kitchen is on the second floor and is supported by wood beams that are untreated? They are so bad and we don't know what to do.
