Ganga got her status only after Saraswati vanished, it was just another transfer of goddesshood, ganga and aab e zamzam still exist, but the municipal water that we receive is always risky to drink and we both, might debate, whole night about which of above two are better, but won't think for a minute of municpal water we actually use :D
