Iran policy is one mosque for both sects and the imam depends on who is majority of the area. So in sunni majority areas, their imam lead prayers, whilst shias pray behind them and vice versa. The aim is unity i guess and is a pretty good idea!

As for studies, iran has recently invited al azhar to open a branch in iran; and i think they are considering it. So if anything; this is nothing like the ssp.

Imagine saudi inviting iranians to open their hawza in saudi lol. Or even shias asking for their adhan and separate prayers in haram in makkah or masjid e nabwi.

So would you support government of Pakistan forcing the Shias to close their mosques and pray behind Sunni imams?
