Re: religious men
Abraham Lincolin once dismissed a government employee.
Someone asked Abraham " Why did you dismiss him"
Abraham said, " I did not like his face"
The person said, " But he can't help it, it is not his fault that his face is like that"
Abraham replied, " After a certain age you are responsible for your face"
Note: Jealous people after a certain time develop a jealous look on their face. We might apply it on honesty, sincerity, kindness and loyalty as well.
I might be wrong in some cases. Allah knows BEST!

Self interest? May be?
Re: religious men
Totally agree with u STP bhai.
why r ppl so persistent that "religous men" aren't fun?
Subhanallah my father is a really God fearing man (of course he has shortcomings but that's part of being human), anyways, he and my Mum get along so well Alhumdulillah.... and he jokes around with her a lot, he buys her presents, he takes care of her so well when she was sick, and he took care of the house and us kids (he makes really nicee roast)... and they talk sooooo much (and not always about religion).... and they like taking morning walks after fajr, etc, etc. So this concept that a man who is religous cant keep his wife happy is ridiculous! (and i'm not saying this to show off, but once my Dad told my Mum that he cant count the number of times he has prayed 2 rakat shukrana thanking Allah SWT for a wife like my Mum :) ) it sure put a warm smile on my Mum's face :)
plus, if a man treats his wife nicely bcoz the Quran tells men to live with their women "honourably", then he not only please his wife, he ends up pleasing Allah SWT.
i do agree with this...but wot happenes wen a guy does take care of his woman through a religious point of view like feed her 3 times a day give her a house etc......but there no excitment?....no attraction!!!.....he hardly says two words where as the wifey wants to chat a lot talk a lot and he's always thinking thro religious point of view.......
like iv mentioned before being religious is fine but wot happenes when it cumes to ur wife?.....do u still treat her as a religious corner?
Re: religious men
^ by same token, if the religious guy is challak he will quote Quran and Hadeeth and marry 4 times.
Change challak with Ahmaq.
