coming to the topic, i second those who said that events like these do vindicate why the two nation theory was spot on.
for those citing Bangladesh, its not as if the bangalies decided to merge back with India. Even when seperating on the basis of being a seperate cultural/racial entity from west pakistanies, nobody said hey lets go back to akhand bharat, so thats hardly a refutation of the partition.
at best you could say that history shows the British should've drawn more lines, not less.
