Red Bridals

Re: Red Anyone?

i really want to wear a deep red farshi gharara with an olive/emerald accent by bunto or taufeeq.

Re: Red Anyone?

I dont know if its 'in' but a bride looks proper in a traditional red dress, and will always look good regardless of whats in fashion,

Im sure you can carry urself in any red Dress and go for the shade that suits ur skin tone the best

Re: Red Anyone?

I'm wearing a deep red - I tried on a number of outfits, found the shade I like then asked for a swatch, so that when I got my outfit made it would be perfect :)

Re: Red Anyone?

sounds like ur onto it!! but whats a swatch???

Re: Red Anyone?

Yes Shade really matters.

Tabeebah: Deep red and emerald sound really nice especially if it's a bunto bridal. Good luck! :)
Tigerlily: That's how I'll pick my shade as well :)

Re: Red Anyone?

Swatch is a sample strip cut from the fabric

red

i dont wana wear red but my relatives are asking me to wear red. on my barat what should i do?

Re: red

You've got sooo many different shades of red to choose from. You've got blood red, maroonish red, deep red, the lists goes on.....Consider them all if you're not wanting to displease your relies. I'm sure there will be a shade of red that you'll like.

My preference for my big day insha'allah will be a deep wine/maroon....and a bright red for my nikah similiar to the one I've recently posted in bridal pics! Now just need to find a husband....

Anyway, if all else fails, and if you still dont want to go for red, then go for a colour you want and try to make them understand.

Good luck and do let us know what you decide!

Re: red

I totally agree with summayya... there are sooo many reds to choose from and ive had sum advice from previous brides in my family that if you stick with the traditional look u'll never look back and regret it coz fashions always change but reds always in!!! if u really dnt want to wear red then talk to ur inlaws and say tht u dnt wana go for it coz at the end of the day its u who will b feeling a million dollars an feeling it requires confidence in what ur gna b wearing.. best of luck sweety :)

Re: red

if u have a color u've always dreamed go for it, its ur wedding day. or if u have another color in mind u could combine it with red. but don't do anything ur not totally happy with, and always buy something you think will be beautiful to you even in 10 or 20 yrs

Re: Red Bridals

I'm going to keep it traditional on barat and wear red, but don't know which shade yet. My fiance thinks a deep or maroon red would look good on me. Still got about 10 months to decide. :)
