^ I think what he meant was the books of the same time while Prophet was struggling to spread Islam’s message. Books written by non Muslims of those times.

If I understood the intent of this thread then it is really an interesting question and interesting topic.

In my opinion such sources don’t exist because Arabic culture of that time relied heavily on memory. They did not use to write things down much. This is why there was so much emphasis on the hifz of Quran, and this is why hadeeth compilation started late.
But still, the subject is really interesting.

Interesting, was there any book by romans/persians during those times?
