Recommended Food

Re: Recommended Food

People! you don’t need to drink oil to make birth easy and slippery…there are already lots of lubricants in amniotic fluid to make the birth process slippery.

The effect of drinking lots of oil would be on the back pessage and the more you drink oil and grease the more mess will be there and not in any way it will help to make birth easy.

The reason why doctors recommend digestive foods in last weeks of pregnancy is so you can have your bowel open before giving birth in order to avoid the mess but grease and oil will make extra mess.

And do ask a doctor before taking castor oil or anything stupid.

The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has categorized castor oil as “generally recognized as safe and effective” (GRASE) for over-the-counter use as a laxative.[16]](Castor oil - Wikipedia) However, it is not a preferred treatment for constipation.[17]](Castor oil - Wikipedia) Castor oil can also be used to induce childbirth, but doing so is sometimes recommended against because it can lead to complications for the childbirth process, including dehydration of the mother and other risks associated with any inducement of pregnancy, such as fetal distress from too strong contractions, increased risk of uterine rupture, unintentional prematurity of the baby, and increased pain for the mother.[18]](Castor oil - Wikipedia)
From wikipedia

Nowhere its saying that castor oil makes birth process easy and slippery…castor oil can be used only to induce childbirth that means baby will come before its due date (who wants a baby before its expected due date?)…and if you are 42 weeks pregnant and there is no sign of labour then go and see your doctor or midwife…they have better ways for induction.
