ottoman caliphate is one section of islamic history and it was successful in many sectors and failed in others what about the entire 1400 years look at that in context not to pick one example here or there.

If you not in favour of secualr democracy for muslim world how can you say lets have more of it? if somebody does something and it not good for you but you keep doing it again and again a doctor will diagnose that as madness.

So question is do you change or do you advocate more of the same please?

I am just applying your method of lookign at issues ie pick one issue.
