Namaaz and reciting the Quran, as in Talawat is only to be done in arabic. Every other thing is to be seen as human interpretations. To get full benefit of this one should read the the urdu/english interpretations. Or maybe learn arabic ?

Husnain, are you saying that everyone who has posted above is emotional

no, just you

for emotional bursts like that.
backed up by baseless facts like this:
More Muslims speak Bengali than Arabic (about 25 time more).
The BBC, in its International Services program, a few months ago, reported that Arabic was the fourth most widely spoken language after Chinese, Spanish and English.
fabricating evidence won't win you any brownie points. Why do you find being truthful so diffcult and challenging? Has lying really become a norm for you?
Enough time wasted.
NYAhmadi!
I sincerely believe that you are either not understanding the posts by others or are being stubbornly obstructive. I have said very plainly that reading the Qur'an for the sake of ajr must be in Arabic as any translation cannot be the same. Reading to understand is a different thing altogether and can be done in any language.
Then you have said:

are you saying that everyone who has posted above is emotional (not psychopath like you) in agreeing that Quran should be read in the language that makes sense to them.

For my information, can you tell me which one has said this? I find unanimity in the thought that I have posted and brothers armoghal, Majestic, khan_sahib, changez and hasnain have said.
I think Brother Hasnain has spent a lot of his valuable time trying to explain this to you also, but the responsibility to understand and be positive in your approach is now yours.

Husnain, since you have no clue about linguistics, we should leave it here. Are you combining the Egyptians and Algerian, or just adding the two up to satisfy yourself, even then Bengali is more widely spoken (Hindi is even more). Going by your explanation, the Quran should be read in Chinese, since it is spoken more widely. Please note that watching a show on BBC does not make you any brighter than you are. But you can give yourself a pat on the back for doing that. I appreciate your slowness, you make some others members appear as Nobel Laureates. Really.
Do you have any stats as to what %age of Muslims speak Arabic? Would you like me to give you a little?
Finding out the percentage of population that speaks Arabic may still not resolve the isse here.
The point is, that if being a rattoo toata in a foreign language gives all this 'savaab' and 'ajr' then when in their lifetime would simple minded religious lemmings decide they've accumulated enough 'savaab' and now it's time to get down to really understand what they've been reciting? Or just WHY would they even attempt to do it because hey.. they are getting the 'savab' and 'ajr' already!
