** I visited London Zoo yesterday, and they had a special exhibition of snakes and lizards in the reptile house. As I went round, I counted a total of 27 heads and 70 feet. I was counting only snakes, lizards and people and I know that there were exactly twice as many lizards as people. Can you tell me, how many snakes did I count?**

assuming no abnormalities i.e. all lizards had four feet, all humans two and all snakes none.
