Ok I don't want to ruin anyone's version of this fairytale but I have heard that the reason the witch finds out Rapunzel is seeing someone is because her clothes become tighter. The witch always fed her the same amount of food and so when all of a sudden her clothes get tighter (because of her belly....she is pregnant) she finds out she is seeing someone
I'm sure there are many versions...........but I think this was from the original or earlier versions
