Karachi have invisible borders, one need proper visa to enter in other area, if your name have Khan as your last name/ family name then you can be killed for that, similarly, if you look like an Urdu speaking then you can be killed as well, because you look like one... Moreover, there is religious division, Shia Sunni killing each other and all these armies are looking for financial and other support both in and out of country...
On top of everything, anyone from anywhere can ask any one to pay extortion money or get killed... Karachi is being literally controlled by the gangs aka war lords who can start agitation and burn city anytime...the amount of weapons recovered from 90 zero tells a lot....

And I hope they just take care of the mess for good..not only MQM but Sunni Tehreek, ANP, Liyari gangs and other gangs operating in Karachi, as of now, you need to buy one pistol fake or real doesn't matter and get whatever you want, MQM in govt from last 17 years did nothing but increased the violence and lawlessness, this was bound to happen, may it be today or year from now...
MQM may go to streets and there is possibility that Tahir ul qadri and likes of sheikh Rasheed and Imran Khan join them or support them just for their personal gains... But the govt shouldn't back out...
