I personally found it a bit awkward maybe because I’m not used to seeing Aamir speak punjabi. Seemed a bit fake.

I feel Diction is a problem for Aamir Khan and a lot of other actors in India. In 'RDB' misal kai taur par, he says 'fir' instead of phir.

And could you please enlighten us about whats the difference between ‘fir’ and ‘phir’ . I guess they are same in Hindi, but might be different in Urdu.

it was an out-standing movie. infact, one of the best indian movies i have ever seen. it was simply amazing, everything abt it. the acting, music, characters, message, comedy, everything was beautifully done. the story is something out of the ordinary, predictable, indian movies. i'm buying it as soon as it comes out on video. i was deeply moved.

btw does any1 have the translated lyrics to "khoon chala" very beautiful song....i just wanted to kno if u guys have a GOOD translation of it....becoz most translation just loses meaning, and it's not as beautiful half the time. thanks. appreciate it.

masoom se larki- did u cry?? at the end..i just couldnt stop crying. it was sooo sad. but i agree with u..it was a very good movie.

i heard it did better than ne movies have ever done in america, made more than ne other movie.

no wonder u give it 10 after all its is “derived” from an english movie. Foprgot the name but was a copy on the other hand RDB is what we youth are living today. Very real and even though the end might seem a bit xtreme there are some who are willing to go down for a better future, might not be the present gen but certainly was the older gen

My understanding was that using F for P is a hindi format, proper Urdu pronounciation is with a P.

It’s also how some people say J for z sounds

Black is not a copy. Black is based based on the story of Helen Keller, hollywood made a movie(Miracle worker) on that novel already.
Stories are the same in both the movies but neither of them is a copy.
