Thanks for the info.
Actually the reason i asked this que is becoz i know when ever west indies came to india a long time ago and narendra hirwani took 16wkts in one test they blamed india of making the pitch in their favor and india denied their claim.

Well.. Home team has the responsibility of preparing wickets and obviously they make the wickets which suits them. So if we go to play AUS they dont give us spinning track and when they come here we dont give them Fast track as fats bowling is their strength.
But sometimes when teams lose they complain that wicket was not good. It is just cryign baby. Their claim can be legitimate if wicket was underprepared was dangerous for play.

In that case match is abandoned. This happened not too long ago in a match in the West Indies where umpires called off play after a couple of overs were bowled.
F&B : thanks for the information again. i was in the impression that pitch is prepared by the groundsman of that stadium which is independent of the team and its management. i thought they are supposed to prepare a fair pitch for both the teams.
The only other venue where that happened was at Indore, my home city. such a shame man.
I agree with every word. Most important thing for me is that Rameez is prepared to step in and not leave things up to the team management. The decision making has been ludicrous in this series. India are a fine side and we might lose whatever sort of track we prepare but the muddled thinking and defensive approach has killed the spirit in the side.
