If a network is going to select someone to become the host of an Islamic program during the month of Ramzaan, shouldn't they pick a person who is knowledgeable on the subject? While channel surfing yesterday about an hour before iftaar, all I saw Shahid Masood do was to take callers and quiz them on questions from the card he had on his hand.
Why are channels so notorious for copying each other?

in uk no good option. shahid masood and maya show r boring , qtv do it to pakistan timing.all uk islamic channels busy with charity appeal . ptv nevr update epg. leaves geo that is it
yep true. The past couple of days i put QTV at iftar time to find a charity appeal on :( they must be doing live transmission at Pak time which isn't that convenient .
thats why my family have ended up watching geo lol

Is anybody else annoyed by the extreme incompetence of all the channels ? They way they all have changed schedules but none of them have the decency to let the viewers know the new timings of the shows or update their program guides.
Happens every single year and yeah it's highly annoying. You'd think in this digital age changing a show title would be an easy task but apparently not.

I think now they are showing the correct titles on the guide. At least on dish network in the US.

Thank God, but only Geo and ARY. TV1's schedule is partially correct.
PTV is never updated until 3 months later.
You would think that with so many unemployed in Pak, they can hire one person to take care of schedules.

There was time when Likes of Dr. Israr Ahmed , Dr. Ghulam Murtaza Malik, Mr Minhas use to take up the screens during the iftaar and seher time..
Now it is all about advertisement and these jokers... and i and many i know have stop watching these channels during Iftar and Seher... so sponsors can pay as much as they want to these....

Dr. Ghulam Murtaza was great. Unfortunately, him and some other good aalims were murdered by animals who don't like the spread of good.
