I am from Punjab and a proud Rajput(Chuahan) but I see a lot of people who are kala and short - yet they claim to be of royal lineage. i.e. Rajput. Why so? I have been to many places in Punjab and Sindh and you meet a lot of chamar looking people who when asked of their zaat, used to say they are Rajput. My question is why people like to show something they are not and they don’t look

Why does ‘zaat’ matter? How does it make you any superior to any of these people? You’re not a royal now are you?

It just surprises me that people make ‘zaat’ such an issue!
