*Vitthalbhai Patel: * Industrialist, politician and friend to Kapoor, this man with a liking for poetry turned lyricist with Na mangoon sona chandi and Jhoot bole kauwa kaate in Bobby and, though he never did a solo film, wrote standout lyrics in many movies like Sanyasi, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Biwi O Biwi and Dariya Dil.

*Padmini Kolhapure: **She was doing random films as a child singer and artiste till her impact-laden role as Zeenat Aman's childhood in *Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Four years later, after some average runners and performances, Kapoor made her a big star with her award-winning portrayal in Prem Rog.

*Suresh Wadkar: * Despite hits in Gaman, Paheli (1978), Krodhi and more films, this fine playback singer was languishing till he became Rishi Kapoor's voice and sang four of the six hits of Prem Rog. After the giants, he is considered one of our finest male singers.
Re: Raj Kapoor: That eye for Talent
*Mandakini: **Despite her dare-all skin show in *Ram Teri Ganga Maili as the allegory for the river Ganga, Mandakini remains a successful discovery of Raj Kapoor for the way the actress was lapped up by the industry and acted in over 40 films in less than 12 years!
Re: Raj Kapoor: That eye for Talent
*. K.K. Singh: * The powerhouse writer was chosen by Kapoor for the pithy and incisive script and dialogues of Ram Teri Ganga Maili. He later went on to do equally intense writing in films like Sansar (1987), Tridev, Tirangaa and Krantiveer.
Re: Raj Kapoor: That eye for Talent
So many other names in the industry owe some or all of their success to the grooming they had under RK Films and Raj Kapoor personally as well. Directors R.K. Nayyar, Rahul Rawail, Anees Bazmee and Kuku Kohli, topnotch art directors Shanti Das, T.K. Desai and many other technicians, including art director Suresh Sawant who went on to films abroad, all began under that giant filmmaker and his banner.
Re: Raj Kapoor: That eye for Talent
It is sad that RK banner hasn't produced anything recently...
