If anything is possible than the investigators should also look into the possibility that it is a charge framed against him because hs is a Pakistani. After all anything is possible.
While I am not a big believer in conspiracy theories, this could very well be a possibility. After all he is the most successful male playback singer in India today and has been winning all the awards :)
