I am MUHAMMAD RAFI's huge fan past four+ decades. Unfortunately..I have never visited India...that I couldn't meet him...though I would have paved ALL ways that I meet him..if I had visited India.
So mesmerizing and touching were the songs he sang that their freshness is still visible and felt whenever you hear his songs.
The way he held his breath and carried with that* MADHUBUN MEIN RADHIKA NAACHE RE* picturised on Dilip and Mukri in KOHINOOR... its simply mind boggling and you are totally serened !!
SO MANY...so many are his memorable hits that the list doesn't seem to end.......
RAAT SUHANI HO..... is from "DILLI DOORR NAHIN"..which also had that famous song (by Rafi*) "CHUN CHUN KARTI AIEE CHIRRYA... DAAL KA DANA LAIEE CHIRRYA..."*
Incident this movie had another most melodic and mesmerizing song which lets your hair down whenever you are in some blue mood;
ZULF K PHANDE PHANS GAIEE JAAN, MEIN TOW MARR GAYA O' MERI MAA
