I’ll be honest, I learned considerably huge knowledge about Islam from his lectures. But Im sure the religious scholars do not know much about the political threats, the players behind those threats / saazishes so they should be very careful not to be influenced by the exploiters. There are too many exploiters of the enemy who do not wish this country to remain.
Shaping the whole country’s population’s mind to accept india as GOD is by careful design. Sure the jahalat of (fake) molvies has added to that exploitation of general population. Due to those fake molvies & their jahalat & the ahalat of the so called educated & intellectuals, the world’s powerful think it is better to annex Pakistan to india or weaken it. & no opportunity is left out to achieve that goal.
Infact, there are lectures from Mohammed enginner ali mirza which are very informatory. Any born muslims with little to no knowledge of Islam will find his lectures valuable as far as the basic facts & knowledge is concerned. The issues other Islamic scholars have with him is on more complicated matters. Like his stance on Tiraawaih prayer & similar other topics which come on a more advance level for a new revert or born muslims with little knowledge that wish to learn more. I still listen to his point of view when something is not clear to me. Recently, I was listening to his stance on the correct ‘dua-e-qanoot’ that should be recited in Witr as was taught by the prophet PBUH. Well, obviously, muslims must recite the original dua as was taught by the prophet & not any other. But Pakistani molvies have made an issue out of that too & in Pakistan, the original dua-e-qanoot as was taught by the prophet is not recited in witr. That is why his lectures on these ignored or over-looked issues are important. However, he should keep away from lectures of political nature to suit india’s goal for Pakistan. That is not why muslims listen to him.
& on those subjects where other scholars have issues with him is too complicated for me to understand as I have not reached such an advanced level to say who is right / wrong. But generally, yes, I do agree that his lectures are a treasure for new muslims or born muslims new to Islamic education. Just like all scholars are humans, each one of them would also have alot of errors to their credit too, not him alone. Niyyat is what counts the most.
Dr. Israr has his own place & an ocean of knowledge himself. It was from his lecture that I learned for the first time that the “ghaddars” from the arabs are not the middle eastern arabs (GCC) as is the general perception today. The ghaddars were the non-middle eastern arabs because of whom the muslim world suffers today. On the other hand, middle eastern arabs started a revolution after that ghadaari of non-middle eastern arabs & tried to unite the muslim world again. Just like scholars & other humans, the world leaders are also humans prone to errors. But I think so far, middle eastern leaders are much better & correct in their decisions & direction (for the most part) as compared with rest of the muslims world. It is because they keep islam as their main guiding source even in common lives so have better intellects as opposed to Pakistani leaders.
Same with shia/sunni hate. I believe those who propagate this upon direction from the enemy are misguided & misled & they need to stop. Listen to credible scholars who do not promote anything unislamic from all sectors. The key is to ensure they do not promote anything against Quran & against the prophet’s teachings.

I think putting scholars like him on a Pedestal is the biggest mistake, that we make and we are being very unfair to them and ourselves. His podcast with Mooroo was outstanding regardless of his political views. Just like the views of Maulana Wahiddudin khan, Israr Ahmed, Maulana Ishaq, Tariq Jameel etc, he is also allowed to make error in his judgments, his is not Mahdi AS, he is not infallible.
The revolution, that MA Mirza has started will have long-term implications on the role of Pakistani or Urdu speaking Muslims in this world. The kind of Shia -Sunni hate you get to see in Turks, Persians, and Arabs, you will not see in Pakistanis or Bengalis it’s because of scholars like him who re-kindled the idea that we may not be at least, so different at all. The renaissance of Islam is not possible without solving this sunni-shia communal hate and I see a big role of Pakistanis in this, in times to come.
P.S. I don’t go with his political views as he is not a political scientist, a degree he should pursue. His constant Musharraf bashing, and his uncanny support for a secular spectrum in Pakistan is something I may never agree with, but hey let’s give him the benefit of doubt, he is nothing but just one man, too much on his plate and too much to be answerable for.
