my mamo is 11 years older than my mami, and they make a perfect couple.

it depends on one's maturity level. some people are still immature even when they r really old, while others mature quick and feel the need to be with someone as mature as them.

Totally varies from couple to couple, because its not their age that matters but their maturity, their understanding of each other etc. You can have a 20 years old who is more mature than a 30 years old sometimes. My married friends have various age differences between themselves and their spouses, some even with the girl being the older of the two. If it works for them and they are happy, then its not for anyone else to find it odd

equal age is better.
age diferences beyond 5,7, or 10 is like baby sitting someone, in times today, at least. & remember that males are wrongfully considered in the respctive cultures or societies to be powerful at any age...you will be amazed how immature some are at any age.

i had a friend b4 marriage she was like eww i wont marry any older guy and bla bla

and there was her neighbour aunty whose older son looks like an uncle

if the gab is like 2 5-8 years i think theres nothing wrong as long as the couple get along and dunt mind ...but as i was talkin to someone earlier .. if the gap is 37 years plus then its bad and sad .. like this girl i know she got Forced in to marrying this guy who i personally think is over 60 but claims to be late 30s and the girl is 24 ..

but in Pakistan its the norm for men to be 8-10 years older than the girl. i personally dont see whats wrong with it but it seems american soceity has trouble with the idea

i agree with those who sed that the couples mental level should be the same, i know sum1 who is marrying her cousin who is 12 years older than her, everybody says that they dont make a good couple shes too pretty for him, but she has connected with him on a mental level and shes very much happy, even though it was arranged.
