I agree this question would not have been asked before. It is because the answer to the question is the understood status quo. It does not need to be asked. It's like saying "Can a child eventually grow bigger?" Rather than asking "Is it possible for a child to not grow?"
The way you've phrased it is as if you are saying that any 2 men as a standard practice become more than friends - lovers and whether it is possible for them to remain friends ... this is an absurd question because the way it is phrased pre-supposes an absurd notion.
How can you even ask such a question? tauba tauba..you know this cant happen.
