southie man, i signed up for a 5K early in October - approx. 3 weeks off, targeting a sub 22:00, preferable sub-21:30. its been years since my last official 5K, so will be a little weird. have been running a lot of miles, but almost no speedwork. i think i'll add a day of 800s or 1200s repeats, and another day of a 20 min tempo run into the weekly runs, for the next 2 weeks. and a week of taper. hopefully that'll be enough to sharpen up for the event.
i jog about 3 km around the oval when im taking a break from gs. i cant remember how many miles that is but you know what it's a Pakistani origin site so i'll just use km.
