i was sitting in a computer lab doing my assignments and cursing my self on my poor personal management skills.
there came a friend, he asked and i explained my situation
then he said some thing about Mr. shehab and his book and some thing guiding him all the time. he pointed out that he was a good friend of ishfaq ahmed whom, i m a big fan
that was it
so few days ago i came across this piece of writing of him and thought it would be good to share it here.
now i m really interested in reading the book
can i buy it some where online etc
The problem is that you are very far away...downunder...and there's a remote chance that an online system like AMAZON would have SHAHABNAMA.....still, I'll find out from Liberty Books and let you know but even if it is doable..it will cost hell of a lot!
The best thing could be that i purchase one here and courier you..which I have no problem in doing so.

This is a beautiful compilation of selected duas by Shahab Uncle… which Mumtaz Mufti got published and gave as hadeeya to scores of people in his lifetime…and some copies of which were with his daughters.

JAZAK ALLAH KHAIR,bro raju i think this dua"kunn fia kuun"is included in the last chapter of "shahabnama",superb duas based on quranic ayats but i didnt find any "dua for shadi" there

Read carefully...son; I am writing in E.N.G.L.I.S.H what is gazetted and documented and spelt by 1000's of Pakistani writers, adeebs etc and even the Government echelons...on SHAHAB chacha....who was a CSP also..and remained Secretary Education-GOP and the Ambassador of Pakistan at THE HAGUE, Netherland.
During my 25 years association with him...I have not seen or heard a soul call him SHIHAB !!

anyway, u can pick up an urdu dictionary and check out the proper pronounciation....
try ferozson's urdu dictionary....

He is mostly posting on facebook these days. I love Shahab nama and wanted to meet Raju sahab when he visited Houston but since he was here to attend a wedding we didnt get a chance to meet. His birthday is coming up though. He was also born on Aug 14th.
