He was a great friend to my dad.....I have met him various times
back in the good old days of Rawalpindi's company bagh days!
I know his son AKSI MUFTI the anchor of LOK VIRSA program and idaara well. Aksi's sister has been a PTV-Rawalpindi drama artiste of late 60's and early 70's....in Col.Shafiqur Rahman's famous HIMAQATAIN drama series.....I forget her name. She was a fine artiste.
I also know (not *NO:)) Mumtaz Mufti's navasi who works in my Bank.*
MUMTAZ MUFTI was the greatest short story writer Pakistan could ever see now......great man he was.
