Spain might not be scoring like Germany but Spain has much better defense than a team like Argentina. So it is not going to be that easy for Germany against Spain.

that penalty drama was just too much.. when spanish penalty was saved, fabregas was fouled by keeper and it was another clear cut penalty!! Ref was idiot throughout i guess.
Spain and Germany should be a classic contest! Hard to predict a winner after a wc full of upsets.. Germany looks awesome but Spain can turn it on any time.
My nerves are officially shot after that match, especially after that penalty fiasco. If Spain play the way they did today against Germany they really don't stand a chance.
Oh and I'm sooooo glad the Argies are out. Everyone and their mother had them down as the eventual winners but Germany just ripped them apart. It was almost clinical :D

The problem with Spain is that they have come across three ultra defensive teams in Switzerland, Portugal and Paraguay. They must be relieved to see Germany in semis knowing that Germany will at least be trying to score against them.
For all those who think Germany are outright favorites, they are GOOD no doubt and I like them! BUT when they came up against a defensive outfit in serbia, we know what happened there... Germany rely on counter attacking football and it will be interesting to see how they fare against Spain because spain will attack them no matter what.
^ It's true, I don't think Spain deserve to be written off completely just because they're up against Germany next. They play completely differently from Argentina. I have high hopes for Spain I just don't want to be singing their praises too much, we all know what that did for Brazil and Argentina :D
