Quantitative Easing

Re: Quantitative Easing

Good stuff Arshad.

Re: Quantitative Easing

Globalisation is in itself not inequality as it benefits all those that take part in trade, however globalisation is going to favour the well resourced and better managed western commercial concerns in the long run, eventually it will like everything else only end up making the rich richer and the poor even poorer. It will favour the big and powerful over the poor and the weak. It may not make much difference to the countries but the corporations can shift their money anywhere in the world. Recently you may have seen the news reports about corporations showing losses in high taxation countries and showing profits in low taxation countries. It means that they are able to choose how much taxation they want to pay.

Re: Quantitative Easing

Just last week WSJ had an article abt US corporations having to issue debt to support dividend payments etc while they have cash hoards outside.
