Why we always blame the religious scholars. We think they are so free that they have to comment and pass fatwa on everything. We know most of them (especially the older ones) even not watch TV, don't go on internet. It's only when something like that is brought into their attention, they do proper research about that and pass their decree if they find it necessary.

Your interpretation of the post is in my opinion incorrect. The post stated this is a petty isssue. The post made no comment on whether stripping is good or bad. It simply states in the overall scheme of things, stripping is not all that important in the list of things that those who issue fatwa should be concerned about.

Stop bringing the reference of the family when you are talking to someone here.
There are plenty of social evils which are relatively a non issue for general society, in the bigger scheme of things. Pointing out that it's a non issue does not mean that we are endorsing the act, and ok with it.
