This may hurt some of you but I can't help saying it. As a Hindu I am deeply ashamed of things like religion / caste based (ie any factor inherited at birth) discrimination. I have heard and read many times that one of the reasons Islam was started was to make all people feel equal. Yet as I read more and more in GS (I admit, nowadays GS is my main source of info about muslim religion etc) it seems there are as many 'at birth' divisions as any other religion!! May be GS is not the typical cross section?

^There are divisions and personal opinions in every Religion. There are difference of opinions in Hinuism as well. You cannot deny this as its a fact. However this opens a door for debates and get to learn from each other.

You cannot blame Islam or Muslims as whole for act of some few. You would rather say the same that if some Hinu is doing something bad then you will also ask not blame Hinduism as whole.

I consider them my felloe Human being, a creation of God. I have love for them. I am sure they also think same. (difference of opinion should not be casue of war)

and yes it is easier to convert hungry and deprived ppl, who have nothign to do with religion.

ps. and yes many new ahmedis are converting back. so you should also reconsider.

I don't know yaar who is living in the LOLO land but here are few numbers for you.

Total world population 2009:
6,785,532,550 (close to seven billion)

Total Muslim population 2009:
1,660,000,000 (close to two billion)

Few years ago at the time of Mirza Tahir, alislam.org used to report Ahmadiya population to be 200,000,000. But I guess someone came back from the LOLO land and realized how pathetic this is and now alislam.org reports tens of millions, still pathetic but let's assume it's 20 or 30 million (the most, I personally believe it's not more then 3 million)...

70% of this Ahmadiya population is totally oblivious to the facts and doesn't even have the slightest idea of their true beliefs. They are just Ahmadi because they were born in an Ahmadi family. Out of 30% left, 90% is a group who is afraid of family breakup and too chicken to accept their insanity.

The rest is Mirza saabs corrupt family and close family friends who are running the show (as their personal business) and who are living lavishly on rest of the innocent naive Ahmadi's hard earned money...

So you decide who is in LOLO land ....

Chan Ji, Ahmadiyon kay liyay tu 'AATAY MEIN NAMAK' wali misaal bhi use nahi ki ja sakti kyon kay AATAY mein namak bhi ziyada hota hai as compared to Ahmadi population in the world.......

Also notice the word membership in the overview. This proves my point that you have to pay to get a membership of this religion… in other words, Islam now has a price…
