Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

Your favorite Pakistani food?
Toughest time on GS?

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

garam

Rogni naan and some nice chicken karahi. Damn that's good. The ones in Pakistan esp.
Toughest time on GS was easily when I first became mod.

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

:yummy:

Why was it the toughest?

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

Glad to find my name here, of course in reference to PA :D. From one of Shak responses :

The last line was ineteresting, until I read the complete sentence :chai:

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

Communicating with members as a fellow member is very different from doing so as a moderator. As a member I used to get angry sometimes and get into back and forths very often. As a moderator you can’t do that, much anyway and it took me a while, a few gentle telling offs etc to manage that :hehe: Also do you remember cafe back then with chaali hazaar posts? It was very difficult to keep track and sometimes if there was a phadda there I a few times took actions without telling my cm or fellow mods and made a few mistakes and the resulting mess would obviously land in their laps and though noone said it too bluntly I knew it was due to my mistake. Obviously those same guppies became my friends after, you included, so no damage done long term.

Interesting is an interesting way to put it. :stuck_out_tongue:

As for you, I haven’t seen you lose your calm here which considering PA is quite a feat…:hehe:

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

This lie would be put to bed.

Soon. :chai:

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

Would love to see how you do that :hehe:

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

"Nothing like Pakistan"

Ps: on serious note is it like people talking about how bad the west is 24x7 but filling visa lottery form on day one the scheme is announced?

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

I didn't live in Defense :(

A lot of people leave a country, not just Pakistan specifically, but in general due to:

-better life for them or esp their kids
-the not so good security situation
-better career opportunities
-better education

I see nothing wrong with that and still having an admiration of your roots and where you came from. There is a reason why Pakistan, India and even China (still) top the immigration charts to Western countries. And don't kid yourself, you offer citizenship to an average job in Pakistan or any other South Asian country 9 out of 10 will say ye and it doesn't make them any less patriotic. There is nothing wrong with that if someone wants to move for the sake of their children or for a better life.

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

Sach aur Sachai
Yehi to PA main dal rahay hain
Aap Burger thread main khush thay

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

That is very admirable and full props to you. But you are not the only one here who has faced deadly attacks or lost loved ones or faced berozgari in Pakistan. :) For some families it breaks their limit as to how much they can take and if they leave then good for them, if they don't then props to them as well.

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with...................> SHAK!!

good question
Pakistan ka issue yeh hay
Yahan koi aam admi leader ban naheen sakta
So
We have to choose among elite

Re: Q&A series: Unplugged with…> SHAK!!

I don’t understand it, out of all the PPP workers is there noone? Why is everyone still focused on elite? :konfused: The elite must rub their hand on this line of thinking, why even bother and improve anything when they know the awam will only choose them.
