push ups and knee pain

Re: push ups and knee pain

Anyway you should consult a doctor and do not take knee pain lightly at this age.

Re: push ups and knee pain

tell this 2 my instructor :hinna:

Re: push ups and knee pain

on an unrelated note, is it bad to sometimes have a hard time getting up after sitting in one position for a long time? as in leg pain and stuff?

Re: push ups and knee pain

yes it is, one should stretch every 3 hours or so

Re: push ups and knee pain

I see…:hmm: It doesnt mean I have like arthritis or something right lol cuz I was starting to get a lil worried!

Re: push ups and knee pain

it is natural i think...some times your legs get numb and stuff...
but if you get up like a old person ( you know what i mean) then you need to start working out..

Re: push ups and knee pain

lol no not like an old person but it still hurts mostly near my knees! and is it weird for your legs to still hurt even if you've been running daily for two weeks?

Re: push ups and knee pain

^its very important you get in warm environment as soon as you finish running and stuff.
I assume you run out doors.

Re: push ups and knee pain

yeah I always go straight home after running, but for some strange reason I always have that sore feeling that night or the following morning.. Its no fun at all :(

Re: push ups and knee pain

either
you are not talking enough protein.
You don't starch after work out.
OR you don't dress properly. Ask your self when you step out is rush rush rush
because you feel very cold. And once you are warm up you feel comfortable?
That mean you need to put more layers on.

Re: push ups and knee pain

Hmm.. I do stretches both before and after... when I go outside its just running pants, a tshirt and sweatshirt... once I start running im fine, the only thing that really gets cold is my ears....Im assuming the protein bit is where my problem lies. Thanks alot for your help! :)

Re: push ups and knee pain

if that so make sure you finish in-front of you door.
Thats whats causing the trouble .
