Eh, not quite on Daah Sanskaar. It’s actually found more in Sikhi, so that’s my bad. But basically, what you call “last rites” and “cremation” in English, we can call that Daah Sanskaar, in Punjabi.
Khansaman eh? Never heard that, at least from Indian side of things. I actually thought that there was no such word at all, that implies the same respect as the English “Chef”. I figured we’d just say Ustaad and that’d be it hahaha.
