University of Karachi is Public Sector University under the Control of Sindh Govt and hence Govornor Sindh is her Chancellor so mostly Karachite are in Karachi University , but still it have considerable NO. of Non-Karachi Students. and among them(Non-Karachite) students again Major portion is Punjabi Students(those who have settled in Karachi).
