I need to know more. Whenever I try to talk to people in non English/Punjabi languages, after a few sentences, it turns to English/Punjabi hahaha.

I might be just as bad or worse. I was having a friend teach me Tamil not long back, and I was sounding like a proper Punjabi. He says to me "What kind of Tamil is this? The Amritsari version?" "We don't call Bh as P in my language, buddy"
