Re: Punjabi Hindus: forlorn and on the path to extinction
Can you substantiate any of this ? Lets start with 47% Muslims in Amritsar right after partition - can you back that up ?
And here is something for you -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinduism_in_Pakistan
In 1951, Hindus constituted 22% of the Pakistani population (including the modern day Bangladesh;;[SUP][3]](Hinduism in Pakistan - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][4]](Hinduism in Pakistan - Wikipedia)[/SUP] Today, the share of Hindus is down to 1.7 percent in Pakistan,[SUP][5]](Hinduism in Pakistan - Wikipedia)[/SUP] and 9.2 percent in Bangladesh[SUP][6]](Hinduism in Pakistan - Wikipedia)[/SUP] (In 1951, Bangladesh alone had 22% Hindu population).[SUP][7]](Hinduism in Pakistan - Wikipedia)[/SUP]
