Foreign police could patrol British streets

…For the first time the streets could be patrolled by officers from the European Union, United States, mainland China, and Asia, where most forces are armed.India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are already being examined by some authorities who have been told to employ an extra 8,000 officers from the ethnic communities by 2009.
