Re: Punishing the umpire
Players are not suspended for making mistakes, they are suspended for being racist (if proven). If players make mistakes, they lose the game, or get demoted to A team.
Likewise, the umpire will be punished if he was racist if proven (like darrel hair, although his punishment was not for being racist).
If umpires make mistakes, theyll be demoted off the elite panel to umpiring low profile games (provided they are wrong on a consistent basis or do something very stupid like what happened at the world cup final). This happened to darrel hair for the way he butchered the oval test and then demanded 500 grand for it.
