Public display of affection

Re: Public display of affection

Ohh I love watching people make out in the subway...up against one of em poles...fantastic!

Re: Public display of affection

I see a lot of young couples (including Pakistanis) making out and usually it doesn't bother me but i don't like it when they do it on trains/tubes because there's usually no where else to look. And I also get the feeling somtimes that they're not doing it because they're in love but because they wanna show off or show others that they're in love. Holding hands and cuddling is okay but what's so enjoyable about snogging your partner on a fully crowded train??? I say leave it for the bedroom please!

Re: Public display of affection

o god and at theme parks..

Re: Public display of affection

Well it's not like couples are being extreme in anyway when they're out in public, half the time all they're doing is sharing spit or kuddling each other.

Re: Public display of affection

Assalamu Alaykum.

I think people who feel that they need to do that in public have no sense of modesty. Maybe they feel insecure about their relationship so they TRY to prove that they are in love to the world. Whats the point if you and your spouse know that you care and love one another. Love shoud be expressed with the eyes and the heart in the public and physically in the bedroom. It should be done for one another and NOT to prove to the public that you love ane another.

Re: Public display of affection

I don't mind hand-holding -- even a peck on the cheek or lips I can tolerate. But a passionate embrace in public I don't like at all.

Re: Public display of affection

Its embarassing when you r with ur family and couple near by start makin' out...but when I am alone or with frens..it don't really bother!

Re: Public display of affection

^^ well thats the thing, i’ve i’m with my friends or husband i don’t mind, but i’m standing their with my father in law :bummer:

Re: Public display of affection

see u can’t really do anything about it. Just ignore and pretend nothing is there (even though its hard) and just carry on with ur own laughter and conversation

The other day I was driving down to mall with my younger bro (12 yrs old) and spotted many teens with mini skirts and just plain ol’ bra! lol I felt embarassed since my bro was with me but then I my bro was also tryin his best not to look their way

Re: Public display of affection

Lol ok...ill say this first of all...i have no problem with it and often partake in it...a lot of you seem to feel that its some way of impressing everyone...i can guarantee you that impressing a bunch of strangers isnt really the criteria...

If im feeling affectionate then ill give my girl a kiss...why should i care whos watching...and if you want to go on about kids etc...you dont think they see it on TV or anywhere else...it doesnt really make a difference...

And to those who say get a room etc...a lot of the time especially with those that are younger that isnt really a possibility is it...and if you thing the bedroom is the only place where affection can take place i feel sorry for your partners...

If you dont like it then nobody that does it cares...cos you arent relevant to them so just learn to live with it...

Re: Public display of affection

PDA is a sign of couple-in-trouble. People with most conspicious PDAs end up divorced.
