Either way let me state my official position. I think the programming of Prime TV is not very good, save for Patjhar and Wafa Kay Mausam. I think unlike PTV, Prime is not doing a good job of representing the sophisticated arts scene in Pakistan al all. I strongly resent the kinds of shows that Prime plays and the direction that it is heading in. Therefore, practically all my threads and comments on Prime tend to be sarcastic. Have I made myself clear? thanks
I don't know if they still have them, but when I used to watch PTV, as soon as the announcement is made that the moon has been sighted, the ads start to appear:

This will go on for, like... 1 hour or more. It was the most boring time to switch on the TV. Thank God, then we got more TV channels. Uff! PTV.

Do you know what's funny sambrialian? You live in Canada, you get prime TV for free and still you're acting like a jerk and complaining.
Since the program of the Prime TV is good enough for you, except for a few then here is a suggestion. Rip that crappy Canadian satellite dish out of your window or roof. But if you can’t do that because you watch crappy Canadian programs in, what is it, freaky-deiky-French, then I suggest you hit you’re TV set with a baseball bat every time that mega sonic commercial comes up. I know that’s 7 TVs in a week but anything to put you out of your misery.
Also, do not and I repeat DO NOT forget that you watch this channel because of us almost 20,000 American-Pakistani subscribers. You do not have any right to criticize or complain about it only we have that right because we pay for it, get it?
Last but not least, do not make an idiot out of yourself by denying your free installation because it’s a known fact that PTV only started this channel in North America, anybody living in Canada is getting it for free.

Regardless of the fact whether it's free or not, Samb has a RIGHT to discuss/complaint/suggest on PTV Prime. Just as you would criticize any other programming on TV that you get for free.

Prime TV is not bad. At least something is better than nothing right?
I live in Canada, and am receiving Prime for free. Sure the second it comes on Bell, I will purchase it. (It saves time and effort fixing a ECM). But I miss Pakistani culture, I will digest Prime TV. Criticism is good, it leads to healthy debates, bringing room for improvment. :k:
But on top of that, too much of everything is not good.
Last I remember Canada was part of North America. So then what’s your point? Mexican’s can get Prime TV but not Canadians?
Remember one thing D.A.Zulfi saab, you are only watching Prime TV because of all your brothers and sisters in United Kingdom. I hope you you said thanks to each of them to making this channel possible. Without some Chaudhry Saab located in Southampton, this channel wouldn’t be possible.
Btw, Canadian programming is really good. Especially in news media where it’s not biased. (Off topic)
ZA Zulfi, change can only come from controversy and challenge. There has been a definite degradation in the quality of programming on Prime. You can not deny that. Especially, the dramas has been affected. The plots have lost their allure, the actors and actresses can't, for the most part, act. I mean, have you seem Babar Ali in Landa Bazar.
Sambralian, as subtle and symbolic as always, chose to represent that quality of Prime by using the commercials as examples.
